We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Assistant to support our orthodontic team in providing high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthodontics, be detail-oriented, and excel at patient interaction.

Schedule:

Monday - Wednesday every week and also the third Thursday of the month.

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, including bracket placement, wire adjustments, and appliance installations.
• Take and record dental impressions, X-rays, and photographs.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and California regulations.
• Sterilize instruments and ensure operatory rooms are prepared for procedures.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Provide excellent chairside support to ensure patient comfort during treatment.
• Communicate effectively with the team to optimize patient flow and care.

Qualifications:

• California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
• Orthodontic assisting experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of dental software and digital imaging preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
